Join us for the first edition of Sonic Majlis at Lulu & the Beanstalk - a summer series listening journey through a handpicked selection of vinyl records. Hameed will guide us through the music that has shaped him, sharing the stories, memories and moments behind each record. It's a part listening session, part conversation, part majlis.
Know your Selector: Bahrain-born, Ahmed Hameed is the co-founder and resident DJ of two of the region's homegrown electronic music platforms: Soundscapes, the decade-old festival that spans music, wellness, art and community with five international editions in Zanzibar, and Noctuary, a selective party series launched in 2018 in Dubai and since hosted pop-ups from Saudi to Berlin, Lisbon and Sri Lanka.

Mini Festival returns for its third edition on February 1, transforming 25hours Hotel One Central, Dubai into a vibrant hub for alternative music, creativity, and community from 4 PM till late. Designed as a multi-space cultural experience, the festival unfolds across six venues and brings together live bands, DJs and vinyl selectors, alongside workshops, talks, film screenings, a record fair, and a music marketplace. The day also features family-friendly activities, making it an inclusive celebration for music lovers of all ages. Access to certain venues is for strictly 21+
Rooted in Vinyl Souk’s ethos of music discovery and community-driven curation, the Mini Festival champions regional talent, independent voices, and meaningful cultural exchange—creating a space where sound, stories, and people come together.
